ABOUT US
HHUK are part of a growing Europe-wide community who study Hawaiian dance and cultural arts with guidance from Kumu Hula Rich Pedrina and Hālau Hula ʻO Nāpunaheleonāpua. Alongside our global ʻohana, we aim to share not only this learning through online and in person classes, workshops and performance, but also our deep aloha for Hawaiʻi, hula and those who make – and have made – it possible for us to take this journey
With mahalo & aloha for the unceasing hard work, support and aloha from our Kumu, alakaʻi and global hula ʻohana, the team representing Hālau Hula ʻO Nāpunaheleonāpua at Hula ʻOni E Europe 2023 in Vienna were honoured to receive 1st place in wahine group ʻauana and wahine group kahiko, the ʻōlelo award and 1st overall; Tamsin (HHUK) holds the title of Miss Hula ʻOni E Europe 2023
