What an incredible adventure. The festival and competition weekend were immaculately organised and managed, and it was wonderful to share time with poʻe hula from all across Europe and Hawaiʻi.

HULA ʻONI E EUROPE 2026 – JUNE 4 TO 7, 2026 – VIENNA, AUSTRIA

It’s happening! The lineups are complete, mele submissions are in and tickets are on sale now for two days of competition in hula ʻauana, hula kahiko and – for the first time ever – oli (chant), a hōʻike, two days of workshops with esteemed judges from Hawaiʻi and a Saturday night gala dinner show. Not only that, but this year the competition will be livestreamed on YouTube!
